Grafoil Gaskets

This product of Grafoil® is flexible graphite laminate, typically produced from material of GTB graphite.

Genuine Grafoil Gaskets

grafoil gaskets

Grafoil Gaskets – Grafoil® was the first fluid-sealing material of its kind, as it is a product of flexible graphite with outstanding capabilities. It’s created solely from pure, natural graphite flake. Grafoil® has the ability to withstand applications involving heat, fire, corrosion and aggresive chemicals. The capabilities of Grafoil® have made it the most universally applicable sealing solution available on the market today. Despite the extreme environments this material is repeatedly exposed to, Grafoil® products consistently provide a tight seal time and time again.

GTB:

This product of Grafoil® is composed of homogenous standard industrial grade flexible graphite sheet and an oxidation/corrosion inhibitor and generally contain 98% carbon. It is the ultimate facing material for flat gaskets. No bijnders nor resins present in this material. GTB is non-fibrous and non-asbestos.

GTB SPECIFICATIONS:

Leachable chloride content: less than 50 PPM.
    Sulphur Content: < 500 PPM
    Compressibility: 43%
    Recovery: 15%
    Creep Relaxation: < 5%
    Tensile Strength: 650 PSI
Temperature Range (oxidizing atmosphere): -400°F to 850°F

GHL:

This product of Grafoil® is flexible graphite laminate, typically produced from material of GTB graphite. GHL has an adhesive bond. This material contains no binders nor resins.

GHL SPECIFICATIONS:

Leachable chloride content: typically less than 50 PPM.
    Sulphur Content: < 500 PPM
    Compressibility: 40%
    Recovery: 20%
    Creep Relaxation: < 5%
    Sealability: < 0.12 fluid ounces/hour
    Tesnile Strength: 650 PSI
Temperature Range (oxidizing atmosphere): -400°F to 850°F

GHP:

This product of Grafoil® is comprised of flexible graphite laminate with polyester insert (0.0005″ thick) generated from material typically 97% graphite. No binders nor resins are present in GHP. GHP is non-fibrous, non-asbestos, and has a thermal bond.

GHP SPECIFICATIONS:

Leachable chloride content: typically less than 50 PPM.
    Sulphur Content: 500 PPM
    Compressibility: 40%

    Creep Relaxation: < 5%
    Sealability: < 0.12 fluid ounces/hour
    Tensile Strength: 650 PSI
Temperature Range (oxidizing atmosphere): -400°F to 850°F

GHR:

This product of Grafoil® is comprised of flexible graphitelaminate adhesively bonded to both faces of a flat 316/316L stainless steel insert (0.002″ thick) generated from material typically 98% graphite. GHR is suitable for standard industrial fluid sealing applications. Such as chemical, petrochemical, refinery, steam service, and cryogenic applications. While maintaining an effective seal, Grafoil® material exhibits virtually no creep relaxation. As a result, the need for periodic bolt tightening is greatly reduced. GHR is non-fibrous, non-asbestos, and has an adhesive bond. GHR has no binders nor resins.

GHR SPECIFICATIONS:

Leachable chlorides content: typically less than 50 PPM
    Sulphur Content: < 500 PPM
    Compressibility: 40%
    Recovery: 20%
    Tensile Strength: 3800 PSI
Temperature Range (oxidizing atmosphere): -400°F to 850°F

GHE:

This product of Grafoil® is composed of flexible graphite laminate attached to both sides of a tang 316/316L stainless steel insert (0.004″ thick) generated from material typically 98% graphite. GHE has no binders nor resins. This material is non-fibrous, non-asbestos, and has a mechanical bond.

GHE SPECIFICATIONS:

Leachable chloride content: typically less than 50 PPM
    Sulphur Content: < 500 PPM
    Compressibility: 30%
