JM Clipper has been providing sealing solutions since the 1870’s. Its name, JM Clipper, originated from the extremely successful Clipper Oil Seal that was designed to control oil leaks on the PanAm Clipper aircraft, which flew the Pacific in the 1930’s. JM Clipper continued their success as they introduced compressed rubber gasket sheets and molded rubber reciprocating seals. By the point, JM Clipper had a reputation in a rubber processing, which lead to the development of Clipper Oil Seals.
JM Clipper’s elaborate line of radial seals include Clipper oil seals, split seals, high and medium pressure seals, Clipper SlipTite-T High Performance Seals, Millennium Metallic Bearing Isolators, and ProtechT Labyrintle seals.

JM Clipper has developed a number of unique sealing products for industrial applications.
JM Clipper Gaskets and materials are specially designed with expanded 100% PTFE extruded joint sealing technology. Clipperlon 600 has a fibrillated structure that provides outstanding compressibility and high tensile strength. These characteristics make it a simple to use form-in-place gasket. This JM Clipper Gasket seals with very low bolt load, a quality that makes it perfect for worn or damaged equipment. These properties terminate the need to cut gaskets, minimize flange sticking and its adhesive backing strengthens its ability to stay in place during installation.
Expanded PTFE (EPTFE)
We offer a homogenous PTFE sheet that utilizes product geometry to enhance creep and flow, as opposed to settling for fillers or binders. This exceptional EPTFE product is called QuadraLon. JM Clipper has developed a signature pattern that converts the material into low density walls that enclose thin high density quadrants, called “Dog Bone”. This development provides a multiple density, multiple thickness material to enhance sealability. This signature pattern provides high tensile strength for improved handling.
CLIPPERLON 2100 SERIES
We offer the Clipperlon 2100 Series gasket materials that are composed of the most up-to-date PTFE polymers, fillers, and geometric technology. Like all other Clipperlon products, the 2100 series has good resistance to bolt creep, which in the past was unattainable with PTFE compounds. Clipperlon 2100 Series has chemical resistance that outperforms these with traditional filled materials.
JM Clippers series of PTFE gasketing material (Clipperlon) has a variety of filler contents that give it different physical characteristics. This feature allows each application to be customized in reference to its unique performance requirements. These products are color-coated to create a differentiation for the customer, which aids in the specialization process. JM Clipper’s commitment to being the industry leader in fluid-sealing and product engineering is exemplified in the composition of Clipperlon 2100 Series’ latest and greatest PTFE technology.
QuadraGraph is JM Clipper’s line of Graphite. It is a proprietary graphite sheet created using the DynaGraph process that provides properties that cannot be attained by traditional graphite sheets. JM Clippers “Dog Bone” pattern is utilized to manufacture a multiple density material for maximal sealing performance. QuadraGraph is formulated to withstand high temperatures [850°F (Air) and 1200°F (Steam)] and corrosive environments and is available with or without metal foil insert.
Non-asbestos gasket material has provided a vast amount of benefits in several diverse applications since replacing asbestos materials. First generation non-asbestos materials are still used today where they work best, however our desire to provide the most optimal solution has driven our development program to produce materials that have enhanced service envelopes at greater economy.
Each of the materials is coated with a high temperature parting agent and is branded with the JM Clipper logo. Clipper sheet has been known as the friendly sheet because of its pliability and ease to cut. The new generation of JM Clipper compressed non-asbestos and sheet products make it possible to cover all applications with less gasket materials. In less aggressive applications, select one of our Nitrile Sheets.
For more aggressive applications, we recommend you use our Clipperlon PTFE sheets and QuadraGraf Dual Density sheet for high temperature service.

We offer premium rubber gasket material, available in three styles
A black, neoprene rubber sheet that is press-vulcanized to a plate finish. It possesses high tensile strength and is recommended for service in oil, petroleum solvents, propane, butane, and hydrogen. Available in 36″ width in thicknesses of 1/16″, 3/32″, 1/8″, 3/`16″, and 1/4″.
Black, neoprene rubber diaphragm sheet that is reinforced with a medium weight duct. We recommend Style 105 be used for braid diaphragm applications in oil and gasoline service where uniform and structural strength is a requirement. Available in 36″ width in thicknesses of 1/16″, 3/32″, 1/8″, 3/16″ and 1/4″.
A high grade red rubber material made from extreme heat resistant SBR rubber topped off with a fine cloth finish and is to be used in general service. Style 107 is applicable for medium pressure hydraulic applications such as hot and cold water, air and saturated steam. This premium rubber is a fairly lightweight material that stays soft and pliable without extruding in joints. Available in 36″ width in thicknesses of 1/16″, 3/32″, 1/8″, and 3/16″.
We offer Style 711 Seigelite, which is created from plant fiber, infused with a glue/glycerin compound. The toughness and resiliency of this sheet makes it the recommended product for sealing flanges, handling gasoline, benzene, oils, greases, and hot or cold water. Available in 36″ width in thicknesses of 0.010″, 1/64″, 0.020″, 1/32″, 1/16″ and 1/8″.
